Blauwe Droom

Hung this above my desk and the way the light hits the crest makes it look like it's actually curling mid-break. The swirled foam detail up close is what sold me, you can almost hear the crash.

The turquoise color is even richer in person than on screen, and the translucent crest catches light beautifully on my shelf. Three weeks in and I still stop to look at it every time I walk past.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this piece captures that exact moment a wave breaks—translucent, frozen mid-curl—and the way the light hits it makes my living room feel like a window to Hawaii. Every time I walk past it, I stop for a second.
