Lee Valley Beitels

The edge held up through a full dovetail session without any noticeable dulling, which is exactly what I hoped for. These are precise enough for fine joinery and the fit and finish feels genuinely well-made.

These fit my hand so well for paring dovetails, and the edge held up after a full afternoon of chopping. The short butt-style handle gives me way more control close to the work than my old bench chisels ever did.

These came honed flat enough that I only touched up the backs on a stone for a minute before they were ready. The handles sit low in the hand, which makes paring dovetail waste a lot more controlled. Honest tools for the money, and I've already reached for the 1/4 inch more than I expected.
