Bought this for my nephew in toddler size and the embossed patch on the front has a nice raised texture that survived a few tumbles already. The brown paneling looks way better in person than on screen, and the 100% cotton feels breathable for his little head.
Bought the toddler size for my 3-year-old and it actually stays on his head, which is rare. The brown cotton panels feel thick and sturdy, not flimsy like most kids' hats.
The embossed patch on the front has held up great through a whole summer of beach trips and it still looks crisp. Cotton feels breathable enough that my son doesn't rip it off his head, which says a lot for a toddler.
