Smithsonian - Dinosaurusfossiel Rollerball

The commemorative tube alone makes this feel like an event, and the metal body has a nice weight that writes smoothly right out of the box. My buddy's a paleontology nerd and he hasn't stopped grinning since he uncapped it.

Bought this for my nephew who's obsessed with dinosaurs and he actually teared up when he opened the commemorative tube. The metal rollerball has a nice heft to it and writes smoothly, so it's not just a display piece.

The pen itself is nicely weighted and the fossil detail on the barrel is a cool touch for a dino fan. But the rollerball ink skips a bit unless I write slowly, and for the price I expected smoother flow.
