25 cm empire-skjerm i akvablå rød, Tuffley, rynket bomull fra GP & J Baker

The 25cm empire shape throws a really soft, even glow over my reading chair, and that aqua-red seaweed pattern is far more striking in person than I expected. Feels like a proper antique textile rather than a printed shade.

I was worried the aqua red would clash with my teal sofa, but the seaweed pattern actually pulls the whole corner together. The 25cm empire shape sits perfectly on my small side table, and the cotton has a subtle sheen when the lamp's on.

The gathered cotton has a lovely weight to it, and the mid-century seaweed pattern reads much subtler in person than in photos. Only reason it's not five stars is the 25cm size runs a bit small on my bedside base, but it still throws a warm, even glow.
