The botanical motif is even more detailed in person, and the shudei clay has a warm, earthy feel that makes every sip deliberate. I love that it’s signed by the potter—it feels like owning a small piece of craftsmanship rather than just another teapot.

The botanical motif is so crisp and detailed you can trace every leaf with your finger, and knowing it’s signed by Seihō makes it feel like owning a piece of history. I’ve already used mine daily for a week and the shudei clay seems to get warmer and richer each time.

The botanical motif is even more intricate up close than the photos suggest, and the shudei clay has a nice warm texture in the hand. It's a bit smaller than I pictured for the price, but the craftsmanship from the signed potter feels worth it.
