Enkel bølgesøm babyteppe (heklet)

The way the ripple stripes stack up as you go is so satisfying, and the yarn's color shifts show off each wave perfectly. I finished a lap blanket in about a week and the stitch memory is solid, no curling at the edges.

The ripple pattern is so well written that even my first attempt came out perfectly even, and those self-striping color changes really do the heavy lifting for you. I've already started a second one in a different colorway because it's just that satisfying to watch the waves form.

The way the self-striping yarn flows through those ripple peaks is mesmerizing—I caught myself just watching the colors change as I worked. The pattern is written so clearly that I finished the whole blanket in about three evenings, and the waves came out perfectly even without any blocking.
