Festool overfres OF 1400 EQ-F-Plus

The plunge action is so smooth it feels like the base is gliding on air, and that powerful motor barely hesitates even in hard oak. I’ve had cheaper routers that vibrate like crazy, but this one runs steady enough for precise dovetails right out of the box.

The dust extraction hookup on this one is a game changer—I ran it for an hour on oak and barely had any chips left on the bench, plus the plunge depth stop clicks into place with real precision. Motor pulls through hard maple without bogging down, and the whole thing feels solid enough to last decad

The plunge mechanism glides so smoothly that I can make clean, precise cuts without any of the chatter I'm used to from my old router. The fine adjustment wheel is a lifesaver for dialing in exact depths on edge work, and the motor barely strains even on thick hardwood.
