HeliosTM D 8'5" 7-vekt fluefiskestang

That eight-and-a-half-foot length lets me make precise casts into tight cover better than my shorter rods. Loads up smoothly for a 7-weight, and the tip feels incredibly responsive even in a cold wind.

Caught three bass before the coffee got cold this morning, and the 8'5" length made roll casting under overhanging willows feel effortless. That fast action transfers energy so cleanly, even my sloppiest casts straightened out. It's the first rod that's made me feel like a better angler than I actua

The fast action loads up beautifully on backcasts, and the shorter 8'5" length gave me pinpoint accuracy throwing streamers into brushy banks. Cold morning and warm afternoon, it handled both without missing a beat. This one's staying in my quiver.
