Kobon skinn/merinoull firkantet brett 4-paknings krusunderlagssett

The merino wool top gives these coasters a soft, tactile feel that’s a step up from plain cork, and the leather base keeps them from sliding around on my desk. They’ve handled a few hot mugs without any warping, and the square shape looks sharp on the coffee table.

These coasters are surprisingly sturdy for how soft they look, and the wool side has a nice, quiet weight to it that keeps glasses from sliding. I’ve been using them for a week and they haven’t stained or picked up any ring marks, which is exactly what I needed for my coffee table.

The merino wool surface is so plush that I actually caught myself running a finger across it before setting down my mug, and the leather trim gives it a clean, tailored look on my desk. It’s the kind of small upgrade that makes everyday coffee feel a bit more deliberate.
