Itchy at first, but after a week on the couch it softened right up. The new wool holds warmth way better than my old acrylic one, and it's big enough to actually cover my legs.
The blue stripes are what sold me — they look even better draped over the armchair than in the photos. New wool means it actually holds warmth without feeling heavy, and I've had it on my lap every evening since it arrived.
The brushed wool is unbelievably soft against my skin, way less scratchy than the old acrylic throw it replaced. The blue stripe looks even better in person draped across the foot of the bed.
