Octogone Colors of Joy Pastel-Underlegg

The octagon shape is what sold me, and the lacquer finish feels smooth and substantial in the hand. Each coaster shows a slightly different pastel gradient, so the set looks more like a collection than a matching kit. They've held up fine under a few warm mugs, no warping or fading yet.

The gradient between the pink and turquoise on each coaster is so smooth it looks like the color was poured into the lacquer, and the hand-finished edges feel silky to the touch. I've got them scattered on my coffee table and they've turned an ordinary surface into a little gallery piece.

The octagonal shape catches light differently from every angle, and the lacquer finish feels almost glassy to the touch. I set them out for a spring brunch and the pastel gradients—especially the turquoise-to-yellow one—made the whole table look like a little art gallery.
