These are way cooler than the sateen set I had before, and I wake up without that sweaty pillow feeling now. The envelope closure keeps everything tucked in, which honestly I didn't think I'd care about until I tried it.
I went with the side open style and it's exactly what I wanted, no fussy envelope flap to wrestle with at 2am. The cotton breathes so well that I stopped waking up with a sweaty face. Washed them twice already and they came out just as smooth.
The percale has that crisp, slightly cool feel I was after, and the envelope closure keeps the pillow tucked in nicely. Only gripe is they arrive pretty wrinkled and need a good wash before the first use, but they soften up fine after.
