I was nervous about the resin base feeling cheap, but it’s actually got a nice, solid weight to it. The way the frosted resin catches the light while the ash top stays matte is such a clever trick—it really does feel like the top is floating.
The contrast between that frosted, translucent base and the solid ash top is even more striking in person than in the photos. It anchors my reading corner without feeling heavy, and the soft resin catches the light beautifully.
The contrast is the star here—the translucent resin base feels almost weightless while the ash top has that solid, lacquered heft. It's a conversation starter in my living room, and the softly-rounded corners make it feel polished from every angle.
