Valnøttkantbånd med fleecebakside

The fleece backing made wrapping it around a rounded shelf edge a breeze, no bubbling or lifting. The real walnut veneer has a rich, natural color that blends beautifully with my other woodwork, and the adhesive held firm after a day of curing.

I was dreading the curved edge on my bookshelf, but this banding bent around it without kinking or lifting, which surprised me. The walnut veneer has a nice, subtle grain that looks like solid wood from a few feet away. It's thin enough that the joints barely show even after trimming.

The walnut veneer looks far more natural than the laminate strips I've used before, and it sanded down perfectly flush with the plywood edge. The fleece backing made it easy to press around the curved table corners without any lifting.
