The subtle color variation from the abrash technique makes the rug look way more expensive than it was, and the delicate striped border pulls the whole room together. It's been down for two weeks and still looks flawless under the coffee table.
The low pile is perfect for our dining room—chairs slide easily and it doesn't catch crumbs. The hand-knotted weave feels dense and sturdy underfoot, and that delicate striped border adds just enough detail without being busy.
The subtle abrash effect really does shift tones as the light moves across it — my living room looks way warmer now. Border’s a nice delicate touch too, doesn’t overpower the solid center.
