Maggie Vandewalle recalls a childhood divided between two passions-an insatiable love of reading and a profound fascination for the natural world. These early interests are the foundation for her paintings of whimsical creatures whose antics often bring a smile or a feeling that one has walked into the middle of a remarkable journey.
The glossy finish on this card catches the light beautifully, making the witch illustration pop. Perfect for sending to my book-loving friend who also adores nature.
The artwork on this card is gorgeous, all those rich autumn colors and the witch silhouette against the trees. My mom keeps it on her mantel even though Halloween's long over.
Sent this to my sister who's a librarian and she immediately asked where I found it. The witching scene fits the Halloween vibe without being cheesy, and the card stock feels sturdy enough to keep on a shelf.
