The black-and-white close-up shows every bit of texture in his face, which is what makes it feel so intimate rather than just a posed publicity shot. Framed it above my record shelf and the 1978 vibe fits right in.

The close-up really captures that lean, hungry look he had in '78, and the black-and-white grain gives it a nice raw feel. Only thing is the print is smaller than I pictured, so it'd probably look better in a tighter frame. Still glad I hung it in my hallway.
