The fibers have just the right amount of spring and body, so my caddis imitations keep their shape even after a dozen fish. It’s also surprisingly easy to stack and even out, which makes tying a batch much faster than I’m used to.

Tied up a batch of caddis patterns with this and the hair flares just right without breaking. Good clean fibers, hardly any guard hair to sort through, so I'm not wasting half the patch.

The hair stacks really nicely, which makes spinning a tight, even body way easier than the synthetic stuff I'd been using. My mayfly imitations sit lower in the film now, and after a dozen casts they're still holding their shape.
