I rubbed the swatch against my cheek just to test the texture and it genuinely feels like silk, not the scratchy wool I was bracing for. The Tencel breathes nicely too, so I'm ordering the full size for my living room.

The Tencel really does feel silkier than the cotton swatches I've handled before, almost cool against my fingers. Ordered it to check the color against my sofa and now I'm just trying to pick a size.
