Weeding between my lettuce rows used to take forever because I'd only cut on the pull stroke. This one slices on the way back too, so it's basically double the work per pass. The visible blade frame saved my seedlings more than once already.
I've never used a hoe that cuts on the backstroke too, and it's honestly made weeding between my rows twice as fast. The blade frame sticks up just enough that I can see exactly where I'm chopping, so I've stopped beheading my young plants.
The blade cuts on the push and pull stroke, which saves me a lot of time in the beds. The frame being visible helps me see exactly where I'm cutting, though the handle feels a bit short for taller weeds.
