Rock On! 04

The irregular shape gives my hallway wall a playful focal point, and the matte ceramic feels surprisingly smooth to the touch.

The glaze catches light differently depending on the time of day, which I didn't expect from a ceramic piece. You can see the marks where it was shaped by hand, and that imperfection is exactly why I bought it. It's hanging in my hallway now and strangers ask about it.

The hand-shaped form has this wonderful irregularity that makes it feel truly one of a kind on my wall. Willem Van Hooff's intuitive approach really comes through in the ceramic texture. It's become the first thing guests ask about when they walk in.
