The Thick & Quick yarn makes this blanket work up way faster than I expected, and it's still light enough to actually use on the couch. The color changes are simple enough that I could knit while watching TV without losing my place. Already planning a second one in different colors.
The stripes on this came out so crisp and even, way more polished than I expected for such a simple pattern. The thick yarn made it work up fast and it's genuinely soft, not scratchy like some bulky blankets I've knit.
I finished this blanket in about a week of evening knitting, and the Thick & Quick yarn made every row fly by. It's heavy and warm without feeling scratchy, and mine came out looking way more expensive than the effort I put in.
