Stretch™ Expandable Black Trivet

This thing stretches out to fit my biggest stockpot and shrinks down small enough to toss in the utensil drawer. The little feet grip the counter so nothing slides when I'm lifting a hot pan off it.

Wasn't sure a folding trivet would feel sturdy, but this one holds my heavy cast iron skillet without any wobble. I love that I can stretch it out for the big Dutch oven and then collapse it flat to slide into the drawer.

I had my doubts about a trivet that folds, but the expanding mechanism is genuinely smooth and holds steady under a heavy Dutch oven. It shrinks down flat enough to slide into my already-packed utensil drawer without a fight.
