Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp

The spring mechanism is incredibly smooth and holds the lamp head exactly where I position it. It's the perfect size for my cramped workspace without sacrificing light quality.

I swapped out a bulky full-size lamp for this on my narrow desk and the smaller footprint made an instant difference. The spring-balanced arm holds whatever angle I set, so I can pull it low over my keyboard without it slowly drooping. Three weeks in and it's still the best thing on my desk.

The aluminum shade feels way more solid than the plasticky lamp it replaced, and the jointed arm actually stays put where I bend it. Fits perfectly on my nightstand without hogging the whole surface.
