Negative Supply exists to create tools for film photographers around the world that want to spend more time photographing and less time scanning. Their products allow you to digitize negatives using your digital camera and a macro lens in as little as 5 minutes (or less).

Scanning the full border of your medium format film is something many have wanted to do for some time, but it’s difficult to do while holding your film flat and while avoiding costly drum scans or finicky flatbed scanning solutions. The 120 Full Border Scanning Cassette for Basic and Pro Film Carriers MK2 allows users to scan with full borders (out to the very edge) with their Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 or Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2.

This all-new, custom designed film scanning cassette shows 100% of the 120/220 film image area + border, including film stock information and frame number. An in-house finished micro-etched optical scanning acrylic ensure optimal film flatness, and a double S curve design further aligns and flattens the fiIm for professional results, every time.

Requires: Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 or carriers that use the same cassette system such as Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2. Not compatible with previous 120 carrier models, such as Basic Film Carrier 120 or Film Carrier 120.

Finally got my 120 scans with the full border intact, and the mask sits perfectly flush in my MK2 carrier—no more fiddling to align the frame edges. It's rigid enough that I don't worry about curling, which used to drive me crazy.

Finally got my 120 scans sharp edge-to-edge with this cassette—the negative sits flat without any bowing, and the full border frame is a huge plus for keeping the sprocket details. It slides into the MK2 carrier smoothly, so switching between frames takes seconds.

Finally, a scanning solution that doesn't make me dread digitizing old rolls. The 120 full border cassette holds the film perfectly flat and the border shows up exactly as it should, which has cut my setup time in half. It's a solid, well-machined piece that just works with my existing MK2 carrier.
