This is the biggest design in our hand painted range, but it remains simple and endlessly stylish. Its charm lies in the unevenly distributed paint, each shade being unique.

The 12cm shade is the perfect size for my reading nook, casting a warm glow through the unique hand-painted card. I love how the uneven paint distribution makes each side look different depending on the light.

Elizabeth ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The paint is delightfully uneven, and this 12cm shade catches the light in a way that makes the taper look almost organic. It’s bigger than I expected for a clip-on, but that just means it fills the room with a warmer glow.

I wasn't sure how the uneven paint would look in person, but the tapered shape and warm card texture work perfectly with my vintage lamp base. It casts a soft, cozy glow in my reading nook, though I wish it came with a slightly longer flex for higher ceilings.
