The Noodler's Ink 14040 Northern Pike Konrad Flex is a fountain pen designed for flexible writing. This model features a Konrad-style body, known for its ebonite construction and flex nib, which allows for expressive line variation.
The flex nib gives just the right amount of line variation for my daily journaling, and the ebonite body has a classic feel that makes it stand out from my other pens. It took a few tries to get the ink flow consistent, but once I did, writing with it became genuinely fun.
The ebonite body feels warm in the hand, and the flex nib rewards a light touch with real line variation. I’ve been using it for daily journaling and it’s become my go-to for adding character to headings.
The flex nib puts down a gorgeous line variation with just a little pressure, and the ebonite body stays comfortable even during long writing sessions. I've been using it daily for a week and it hasn't skipped once.
