There’s something wonderfully compelling about this shade. Perhaps it’s the rhythmic zig zag in inky black. Perhaps it’s the way the pattern softens and blurs against the natural linen. Either way, it brings an easy confidence to a room - graphic, relaxed, and effortlessly stylish.

The linen weave gives it a soft, homespun texture that makes the black zig zag feel sophisticated rather than harsh. I swapped out a plain white shade for this one and the way it casts light through the fabric at night is genuinely stunning.

The zig zag pattern feels almost three-dimensional up close, but from across the room it melts into this soft, moody texture that completely changes the vibe. I keep catching myself staring at the shadows it casts when the lamp’s on.

The light filtering through this black ikat linen is softer than I expected, and the 16cm size fits my bedside lamp perfectly. I keep catching myself staring at how the zig zag pattern blurs at the edges when the lamp's on.
