16cm empire shade in green candy stripe block printed cotton

I was hesitant about a striped lampshade, but the green candy stripe is such a cheerful, subtle pop of color in my reading nook. The block print on the cotton gives it a lovely handmade feel, and the gathered fabric is perfectly neat. It softens the light just enough to make the room feel cozy.

The gathering is so neat and even, it gives the shade a really polished look that dresses up the plain lamp base underneath. The green candy stripes add just the right pop of colour to my reading corner without screaming for attention.

The green candy stripe pattern is exactly as shown, adding a gentle pop of color without being overpowering. My only small gripe is that the shade is a bit more compact than I anticipated for the base I paired it with. The cotton material and neat gathers give it a nice handmade feel overall.
