We spend hours messing around with lampshades, trying all sorts of new and wondrous materials to see how they transmit light through them. And in our opinion, there isn't much that beats a humble rattan lampshade for casting a beguiling glow. Seen here with charming orange collar and cuffs.

The weave lets the light through in such a warm, speckled way—the natural rattan and that single orange stripe give it a playful, handmade feel that dresses up a plain lamp instantly. Looks great in our reading corner, though it’s a touch smaller than I pictured.

The orange stripe really pops when the light’s on, and the rattan weave throws such a warm, textured glow into the corner of my living room. I keep finding myself staring at it instead of the TV.

Finally got this rattan shade hung up and the way the light filters through the orange stripe gives the whole room such a warm glow. The natural texture feels really well-made, and it's smaller than I expected but perfect for my bedside table.
