We love our hand painted shades. Each one is unique, and somehow the little imperfections in the paint work, and the slightly mottled look and wonky lines, add to the...well... perfection. Achingly simple, and in no way showy or brash, these gorgeous shades will feel at home in almost any environment.

The wonky hand-painted lines give this shade so much character, it looks like a tiny art piece. I love how the light filters through and catches those little mottled imperfections. Exactly the quirky touch my reading nook needed.

The verdant green is even richer in person, and the little wonky brushstrokes make it feel like it belongs in a proper countryside cottage rather than a catalog. It throws a lovely warm glow at night, and I catch myself staring at the mottled paintwork every time I walk past the lamp.

The hand-painting on this shade gives it such a unique character—the slightly wonky lines and mottled green feel almost like a tiny watercolor. It throws a warm, soft light that completely changed the mood of my reading nook.
