The corn-based film warmed my spring beds noticeably faster than bare soil, and moisture stayed put even through a dry stretch. Come fall it tilled right in with no plastic scraps to chase down.
I laid the 3' roll down my tomato rows in April and didn't pull a single weed all season. Come fall it just tilled right into the soil, no plastic to peel up and toss. Ordering two more rolls for the peppers next spring.
Weeding went from a weekend chore to almost nothing once this was down, and the soil stayed noticeably damper underneath.
