We love our hand painted shades. Each one is unique, and somehow the little imperfections in the paint work, and the slightly mottled look, add to the...well... perfection. Achingly simple, and in no way showy or brash, these gorgeous shades will feel at home in almost any environment.

The hand-painted mottling is way more subtle in person than in the photos—in a good way, it just looks like soft ripples under warm light. Hung it in the hallway and it instantly makes the space feel cozier. The 30cm size is perfect for our reading nook.

The gold ripple effect catches the light perfectly, especially with a warm bulb inside, and the slight paint unevenness makes it feel more like art than a lamp shade. Very pleased with how it transformed my hallway.

Ruby ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

I mounted it above my reading chair, and the hand painted mottling catches the light in a way that makes the whole corner feel warmer. The 30cm size is larger than I expected, but it diffuses perfectly without being overpowering.
