If you wanted to go out looking sharp, you might ease into a white suit and spice it up with matching hat and shoes. Well why should a lampshade be any different? Very striking just off white card, lined with cotton and topped and tailed with a jolt of colour. Natty!

The cream card has a lovely matte finish, and the charcoal grey tape really anchors the whole top-and-tail design. It’s sharp without being showy.

The charcoal grey tape on the back is what sold me—it gives the whole thing a sharper, more modern finish than the usual brass or white trim. The cream card is thick enough that it doesn't look flimsy when the light's on, and the 30cm size feels just right over our bedside lamps.

This shade is exactly the crisp, tailored look I was hoping for—the cream card paired with the charcoal grey tape gives it a sharp contrast that really pops in my reading nook. The 30cm size is perfect for my small side table, and it casts a warm, even glow without being too harsh.
