We spend hours messing around with lampshades, trying all sorts of new and wondrous materials to see how they transmit the light. And in our opinion, there isn't much that beats a humble rattan lampshade for casting a beguiling glow. The light pools warmly beneath but it also sneaks out gently through the little gaps in the weave. Beautiful it is, we thinks. N.B these shades are now supplied with a reversible gimble so they can be used as a pendant shade as well.

Andrew P. ★★★★★

The light through this rattan shade creates this lovely dappled pattern on the wall that changes throughout the day. It feels really nicely made—the weave is tight and consistent all the way around.

Abigail X. ★★★★★

The 30cm width is perfect for my bedside table, and the weave is tight enough that the bulb doesn't glare through. It throws a warm, striped pattern on the wall that makes the whole room feel cozier.

Ryan D. ★★★★★

The way the natural rattan diffuses the light is genuinely lovely—it casts this warm, dappled pattern across the ceiling that makes the whole room feel cozier. The 30cm size is perfect for my bedside table, and the weave looks even better in person than in the photos.
