This one began, as so many good things do, with a table scattered in wooden blocks and the faint scent of dye in the air. Printed by hand in Jaipur, each motif is pressed individually onto soft cotton - no two are quite the same, which is exactly the charm.

The red is deep and earthy, somewhere between terracotta and pomegranate, with a rhythm that feels almost architectural. It has presence, certainly...but also warmth. The sort of shade that makes a room feel layered, collected and wonderfully alive.

Alexander ★★★★★

The red is so rich it almost glows when the light’s on, and you can tell each block print is pressed by hand from the tiny uneven edges. Fits my 40cm lamp base perfectly and looks way more expensive than it cost.

The hand-blocked pattern has an uneven, human feel to it that mass-printed shades just don't have. It casts a lovely diffused glow in my reading corner, and the cotton is soft enough that it doesn't feel flimsy when I'm dusting it.

The red is so rich and warm that it turns my whole living room into a sunset when the lamp’s on. You can really see the uneven, hand-pressed texture of the cotton up close, which makes it feel like a proper Jaipur piece rather than something mass-produced.
