45cm straight empire shade in aqua red Tuffley gathered cotton by GP & J Baker

The gathered cotton has a lovely hand to it, and the aqua red seaweed motif looks way richer in person than on screen. It throws a warm, even light across the whole room without any glare. Genuinely the nicest shade I've bought.

The gathered cotton has a lovely slight texture that catches the light when the lamp's on, way warmer than the flat shades I've had before. The aqua red seaweed pattern is busy up close but reads as a soft muted tone from across the room, which is exactly what I wanted over the reading chair.

I swapped out a plain linen shade for this one and the room instantly felt more considered — the gathered cotton has a lovely soft texture that catches the light instead of just blocking it. The aqua reads more teal in person than on screen, which I actually prefer, and the 45cm size sits perfectly
