The name egg and spoon rather demeans the silken beauty and style of these beautiful shades. The achingly cool ikat pattern is printed onto lightweight billowy silk, and then gathered into folds on the shade itself. The result is one of our most perfect shades to date....we love 'em....and hope you concur. (but you see what we mean by egg and spoon?)

Harper P. ★★★★★

The fabric is so light and airy that the light glows through the folds beautifully, and the grey green ikat pattern looks even richer in person than on screen. It took me a minute to adjust the fit on the lamp ring, but once it's on, it really elevates the whole room.

Scarlett ★★★★☆

The silk has a lovely softness to it, and the ikat pattern really pops when the light's on. Fits well on the lamp base I had.

Samuel R. ★★★★☆

I was a bit worried the grey green might look drab in person, but the ikat pattern really pops against the silk. It casts a lovely soft warm light through the gathered folds. One minor thing: the shade sits a little looser on the fitting than I'd like, but it's still secure.
