Rubbed this on a pork shoulder before a slow smoke and the bark it built was unreal. The cocoa backs off just enough that the chipotle and ancho heat still comes through, and there's a faint bacon note on the finish. My go-to for pulled pork now.

The cocoa and chipotle combo sounded odd at first but it totally works on burgers. You get that smoky heat first, then a hint of bacon on the finish. Went through half the jar in two weeks.

Rubbed this on a pork shoulder before a long smoke and the bark came out unreal. The chipotle gives a real kick but the bacon flavor still comes through, not just salt and heat like most rubs. Been using it on burgers too.
