A beeline refers to the idea that when a bee is flying back to its hive with nectar, they fly directly there. Have you ever seen a bee fly? Nothing direct about it.

The name made me laugh since I actually got these for my morning runs, and they live up to it. The ankle cuff stays put through the whole loop without slipping or bunching. Never thought I'd care this much about a pair of socks.
This little gadget actually lives up to the pun—it’s been glued to my ankle for two weeks and the zigzag path it maps out is oddly satisfying to watch. The strap is plenty secure without digging in, even during a full day of errands.
The zigzag stitching along the ankle cuff is the part I didn't expect to like, since most of these slip down by mid-day. Still holding after a week of errands. Wish the sizing ran a touch wider, but that's a me problem.
