BASKET CASE
Bought this to hold firewood next to the stove and it's become my favorite thing in the room. The woven birch has already warmed up to a honey tone after a few months, and the double layer means it doesn't sag even when I pile it full.
The double-layered weave feels sturdier than I expected for something so lightweight, and I love that the birch is supposed to develop a warmer patina as it ages. It’s been sitting on my entryway table for two weeks now, catching keys and mail without looking cluttered.
The double-layered weave is sturdier than it looks, and it’s already holding all my throw blankets without losing its shape. I love that the birch will develop a patina over time; it feels like it’ll age beautifully with our living room.
