Anaximander imagined the universe beginning in the apeiron—the boundless, endless source of all things. Wear this knot as a little symbol for everything that keeps going, returning, and refusing to end.
The knot sits flat against my ankle bone so it doesn't rub under socks, which was my worry. I've worn it every day since it arrived and it still looks brand new. Nice little reminder that things keep going.
I've had this on for three weeks straight, showers and all, and the knot hasn't loosened or faded at all. It's small enough that I forget I'm wearing it, which is kind of the point.
The knot sits flat against my ankle bone so I forget I'm wearing it until someone asks about it. I like that it's a little nod to the apeiron idea, something endless and always returning. Three weeks in and the cord hasn't frayed or stretched out.
