The brushed cotton is exactly that buttery soft texture I was hoping for, and the latte color is a perfect neutral. My only minor gripe is that the shams are a bit puffier than my old pillows, so they don't sit quite as flat as I'd like. Still, they feel wonderfully cozy against my face.
