Warm and comforting Chilli Black Beans for a super fast and wholesome dinner, made with our popular classic organic black beans. Perfect served in jacket potatoes topped with cheese and sour cream or added to tacos, enchilada and nachos for a Mexican twist.
Grabbed a can after a long shift and it was oddly comforting, the black beans are properly organic and have that slow-cooked thickness you usually only get from a pot. Tossed it over a jacket potato with some sour cream and it hit the spot, dinner was sorted in five minutes flat.
The can-to-table time is genuinely under five minutes, and the sauce is thick enough that it doesn't turn into soup on a jacket potato. I've already got six more tins in the cupboard for busy weeknights.
The texture is spot on—creamy beans in a rich, mildly spiced sauce that’s ready in minutes. I threw it over a baked potato with some sour cream and it was the perfect weeknight comfort meal. One can is plenty for two hearty servings.
