Cuir et Feu | Grande Bougie parfumée

The moment I lit this candle, the room filled with that warm, smoky leather-and-wood scent, like an old library chair beside a crackling fire. It burns evenly and the fragrance is rich without ever feeling overpowering, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Burned it for the first time last night and the leather note really does come through once the wax gets going, though it took a good 30 minutes to fill the room. The throw is decent but not overwhelming, which I actually prefer for a bedroom.

The leather and wood notes are gorgeous and the burn pool stays even after a few hours. My only gripe is the wick needed trimming twice, but the throw fills my living room nicely.
