Two color cables in a geometric pattern adorn this durable floor pillow, made in three colors of Lion Brand Jeans. Knit two for a reversible pillow, or cheat like I did and use a fleecy fabric for the back :-)
Add one ball of each color if you plan to knit both sides of pillow.
I sewed a fleecy back instead of knitting a second one, and it still looks completely finished on the couch. The two-tone cable pattern has held up great after a month of my dog claiming it as his bed.
The two-tone cables make this look way more expensive than it actually was to make. It's firm enough to sit on for movie nights but still soft on the knees. Took me a couple evenings to knit up and now I want one for every room.
The cable pattern on this thing is so crisp it honestly looks store-bought, and the jeans-yarn colors go with everything in my living room. It's holding up great after two months of my kids using it as a wrestling mat.
