The double-layer construction gives them a nice heft that actually stays put on the table, and the charcoal gray hides crumbs surprisingly well. They’re soft right out of the package and have held their shape through several dinners.

I wasn't sure the double layer would actually feel any different, but these are so much softer than my old single-layer ones. The charcoal gray hides coffee drips nicely too. They lay flat right out of the wash, no ironing needed.
