Dux Duroplast Pencil Sharpeners
Category: Wms&Co.
Since 1936, the Dux Nostalgia pencil sharpener has embodied timeless German craftsmanship in its distinctive design. Made from Duroplast—a durable fiber-reinforced material similar to Bakelite—this sharpener combines vintage aesthetics with modern functionality.
The thoughtfully engineered faceted canister features a generous collection chamber that catches shavings as you work, topped with a removable lid that reveals a precision sharpening hole designed for standard pencils. Its robust metal insert and quality engineering prevent jamming from broken pencil tips, ensuring consistently smooth operation.
Born from Theodore Paul Mobius's 1908 invention of the cone-shaped pencil sharpener, Dux represents over a century of German engineering excellence. Today's Bavarian-made Dux sharpeners continue this legacy to create tools that are as beautiful as they are functional.
