A sturdy plywood and rubberwood childrens table with a removable chalkboard central panel. When the panel is removed, it reveals a hidden compartment to store pencils etc. Chalk not provided, recommended traditional non permanent chalk.
My kids fight over who gets to draw on the chalkboard panel every morning, and the hidden compartment underneath is perfect for stashing their crayons when they're done. The plywood base feels solid enough to survive years of play.
The hidden compartment is the star here—my kids stash their crayons and pencils inside and the chalkboard panel slides back on without a fuss. The plywood and rubberwood feels solid enough to survive daily play, and it's nice that the chalkboard can be flipped to turn it into a regular table.
My six-year-old was so excited when she found the secret compartment under the chalkboard—she immediately filled it with colored pencils. The table feels really solid and well-made, and the plywood surface wipes clean easily. It’s already become the center of her craft projects.
